About the Owner
ABOUT THE OWNER
Katherine, also known as Ms. Kathy, earned her BFA in painting from Hartford Art School in 2008. She is a self-described experimental painter with extensive knowledge of fine art mediums and techniques, enabling her to teach a wide range of classes for both children and adults. During her five years of teaching at The Connecticut Art School, Kathy continually attended workshops and artist residencies while also creating and exhibiting her own artwork.
Within the local art community, she has served as an artist assistant, curator, art educator, and gallery director. Furthermore, she has utilized her artistic talents to collaborate with non-profit organizations, including the Greater Hartford Arts Council and Windsor Art Center, as well as local libraries and senior centers.
As a mother to two children, Rhuby and Oliver, she is excited to share her passion for creativity with the next generation!
